Stockwell House was built in 1840 as a Schoolmaster's home, later turning into a farmhouse. Set in 3/4 of an acre, Stockwell House was
modernised and extended in the 60's, with en-suites added and the bathroom upgraded in 2010.

What to do near Marros?
Within three miles from Stockwell House there are five beautiful beaches to choose from, and numerous lovely walks. Stockwell House is situated 3/4 of a mile from the Western end of the Carmarthenshire Coastal path, where it meets the Eastern end of the 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coastal path.
Marros beach is just one mile away. Described in the Western Mail as one of the unknown jems in Wales, it can only be reached by foot. With views over to Tenby and a petrified forest, this beach is perfect for those seeking tranquility.
Stockwell House is on the Celtic Bicycle Trail route 4, from Swansea to Fishguard.
Marros Riding Centre is located nearby. Why not take part in a beach or country hack?
Pendine is 2 miles away. With a 7 mile beach it is famous for land speed records. You could visit the Museum of Speed.
3 miles away we have Amroth where there is a lovely National Trust Property, Colby Lodge. Take a walk through their grounds and enjoy refreshments outside, by the walled garden. For those who prefer to explore the sea, kayaks can be hired in Amroth.
Stockwell House is only 7 miles from Laugharne. This is where poet, Dylan Thomas, made his home and spent his time writing. Visit his boathouse by the estuary, or take a look inside the thirteenth century castle.
